This is why I am so in love with Sansan. They both influence each other’s development so much.
I love the ship because of the effect they have on each other, but I also love them as individual characters.
I honestly don’t understand how people can hate Sansa.
She was forced to grow up so much in such a short amount of time.
My only wish for her was that she didn’t trust Littlefinger so much in A Feast For Crows.
I find him an intriguing character, and I love him, but I wouldn’t trust him to hold my sandwich and not spit in it.
I mean, come on. He betrayed Sansa’s father and murder her aunt.
You’d think she would know better than to just trust him so easily. I know she doesn’t have much of a choice at the moment, but still. She could at least be a little suspicious of his intentions.
Character development is also why I have fallen in love with Jaime and Tyrion Lannister.
This is why I love this series so much. GRRM doesn’t focus so much on magic and battles as he does on the characters, and their growth and politics and relationships and morals.
I even love characters like Cersei, who is strong and independent, but her paranoia and thirst for power is slowly sending her in a downward spiral.
She is so cunning and smart, but she over thinks things and it is going to lead to her demise.
THATS ANOTHER THING. I love how even characters like Ned Stark, who seem to absolutely flawless and wonderful, have flaws.
Ned was such an honorable man who only wanted to do the right thing. That was one of his best qualities, and that is exactly what ultimately led to him dying.
GAWD I could go on and on about the characters in this freakin’ book and how amazing they are but just aksdjhadjkhaskja….
I love her to death. She is such a brilliant character. She is smart and witty and always thinking ahead. She may be a little merciless and paranoid, but not without good reason. She is power-hungry, but only because power has been denied to her throughout her life just because she is a woman. I could write so much more about Cersei and her character, but bottom line is, I just adore her.
